Oh What a Great Day... (from Shelby)
Today was a better day. We went to a local park in Nanchang and a Taoist Temple at the park. Saffi is getting better but she will not listen to me while the guide is around. She is used to running everywhere, with no thought to a parent. However, she is better when we are alone in the hotel room. She is now taking her first nap (thank freaking god!) and I am going to relax and read. Here are some pictures from today's adventure:

The photos are awesome with that Million Dollar smile. I'm dying to see one of both of you together - why are you keeping us in suspense?

Just got home. So glad to see that you've had a great day!! TieTie sat down and looked through the blog last night. "Oh, my gosh!! It's XiaoKe, KeKe!! Meiguo jia???" I told him, again, yes she's with her American family now and will be here soon. He recognized the park, he also remembered (and told us) than he ran all the way out and that Daddy carried him [screaming, but he didn't mention that part] all the way back. "We can go see KeKe?" I told him that I thought we might be able to, and he really likes that idea.
But first, get home and settle! I can ask TieTie if he wants to write KeKe, and I can type the note, in English, for you to share if you wish. TieTie is fast losing his Chinese, both Lepinghua and Mandarin. He is starting to want to keep his Mandarin, now that he's switched to mainly English. But I'm not sure how much he can still say and understand of Leping dialect, since he quit using it once we left Nanchang, since I couldn't understand him. We got by in simple Mandarin.
Best to all. One good day makes handling it all so much better, maybe not easier, but for sure better!
