Gone Fishing...

I took some time off from working on the house and the stress of the wait to go fishing over the weekend. Seventeen guys crammed onto a 45 foot boat and went out 25 miles into the Pacific Ocean to go Halibut, Ling Cod and Rock Bass fishing. I was the only one to catch this ugly fish that I forgot the name of, but the Captain said it is good eating. We also caught our limit on Halibut, Ling Cod and Rock Bass. The Halibut is a pain to bring to the surface. Imagine a piece of plywood on the bottom of the ocean, 500 plus feet down, laying flat. Now imagine trying to pull that thing to the surface. You just caught a Halibut. It's a good work out, my arms were tired by the end of the day, but we had fun and we now have enough fresh fish in our freezer to last us a while.
