Sorry About The Wait...

Sawyer has been busy over the past couple of weeks...he had his first Halloween. He "loved" his costume. We also carved pumpkins with our friends from down the street.

Last Tuesday, the 7th of November, Sawyer had his Palate Surgery. He did really well. The Doctor said that his palate was very wide and on the edge of what they normally do for surgery. But the surgery went well and Sawyer is doing really good. He is dealing with the pain like any other almost two year old would, when the pain medication wears off, cry. So we always have a bottle of Tylenol ready every four hours. He has been a trooper and we look forward to him healing and feeling better soon.

aww, precious baby boy! I hope the pain fades quickly and he heals up fast. He is such a beautiful little man. I'm glad the surgery went well. No scarring will ever take away the pure handsomeness of this little boy.

great pumpkins, btw. we have pumpkin carving parties here at our house every year, inviting friends and their children over for some pizza and carving. Everyone has a blast and this year the kids outdid themselves. It's a great tradition to start and a fun one to keep going. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Love the pumpkins.

And love the pumpkin face.

(Was that too corny? I'm thinking that was too corny. I guess cuteness just inspires corn, even in a professed cynic like me...!)
