Dogs and Kids.....

My dad used to say, "dogs and kids, everyone should have them." This is so true because you never know what is going to happen next. For instance, I posted about our second day home with Sawyer at 9:58 pm last night. Well at 12:15 AM, Sawyer decided that it was time to get up and play until 4:00 AM. The only one who really didn't mind, besides Mom & Dad, was Timber. He was happy to find someone to play with and pet him.

So today, Mom and Dad returned the favor. We woke him up at 11:00 AM and took him to the dog park. He didn't seem too thrilled at first. But, if you give the kid a cookie, he is up for anything.

Actually he kind of just stared at the dogs as if he was in a dream and he went to doggie heaven. Then he was happy to realize that he is not dreaming and he is in doggie heaven.

Bee Bee had to show off her jumping abilities.

Cao scouted the road ahead to make sure it was clear for the rest of the family.

And Timber would not go for more than ten feet in front of the stroller. It was like he does't want to leave his new best friend that he met the night before.

After a long day at the dog park, our little hero was so exhausted, he could wait to get home to take a nap. But, don't fear, he was well looked after...

(****DISCLAIMER****Daddy took this picture while mommy ran inside to pick up our food)
while Mommy and Daddy stopped by to pick up take out of something they have been craving since they got back from China.

Is that Marymoor Park? It looks familiar. Actually, its the only dog park I've been to on the east side.

You have an handsome son and cool dogs.

Yes Melissa, that is Marymoor Park. It's the best Dog Park in the Seattle Area.

Greetings from a fellow Kunming family. Our middle daughter is from Kunming. We fell in love with the city as well and can't wait to return.
Best wishes for a wonderful future with Sawyer.

I thought that was Marymoor park, the picutres of the trail looked familiar, however its been about 12 years since I've been there. I used let my mothers dogs roam around there. Watch out for the stream, it may be small, but it has a current. One of my mothers dogs got caught in the current and it was tough getting her out.

Gotta love that cute face of your sons ... he's just adorable.
