Well, here we are on our first date. Shelby and I walking the Pier in Seattle almost three years ago. Seems like, well, three years ago with how slow this week has been going. Thank god it's the weekend.

Ever since we found out that Sawyer will be coming home, I have felt overwhelmed. I feel that we have so little time to get anything done, But, in reality, we have about two to three months to get things done. Both Shelby and I are like, we have to get this done now, or it will never get done. How do we control these feelings? Is anyone ever really ready for their child to come home? Is this pure excitement that is driving us to get everything done now?

Okay, so I am thinking through my fingers, but it makes me feel better to vent a little frustration. Any how, we some big plans for the weekend, yipee!! We are going to paint the front fence, you know the white picket fence, and spread stinky dirt over our flower beds. Then we are going to rip apart the spare bedroom and transform it into Sawyer's room. I want to try to do the Extreme Makeover thing on the room and try to get it all done in 24 Hours, but Shelby thinks it might take a couple of days. Thanks for ruining my fun playing with the electrical system, honey. Love ya!!

We heard some exciting news today, our fun loving friend in Spokane informed us that her husband, and worldly companion, has accepted a job in the ER. This gives him every other weekend off. Which means, we might be able to see them more often and do some hiking and outdoorsy stuff. This Summer is going to be so much FUN!!

Well, got to be going. Blog ya'll later.

Love the site! Keep it up as so many will want to follow it! As we mentioned before, we are happy to help with anything that you need. If you want to get together for dinner and vent about anything, we have listening ears. Before you know it McKaden and Sawyer will be playing together at the Zoo! Cannot wait! Lori
